GENERAL info

PRICE ORDER OF OPERATIONS
[(Shading)(Base art + add-ons) x (rush fee if applies)] + revisionsREVISIONSSmall revisions:
• Aspects that are very minor to the piece. (ex: expression change, colour shifts, added effects, etc.) These are free of charge.Big revisions:
• Things that are much more evident to the art. (ex: wardrobe/clothing change, lighting modifications, complete background alteration, etc) These generally result in additional payment, the exception being if I have made a mistake. (ex: hand having an extra finger, weirdly bent leg, etc.)PRICING (ACCORDING TO COMPLEXITY OF DESIGN)
• Lower price range of "Simple design" goes to low-ranged designs.
• Higher price range of "Simple Design" goes to mid-ranged designs.
• Price range of "Complex Design" goes to high-ranged designs (and beyond).PAYMENT
• All prices are in CAD (Canadian dollar)
• I only accept payment via Paypal (Ko-fi included)

process

1.Please fill out the commissions form. If it is open, it should be pinned on my Twitter profile @octylish.2. Once we agree on a price, you can send me the payment to my Paypal or my Ko-fi profile. If the total is over 100$, we can split the payments over progress.3. I will update you on the progress of your commisson. More WIPs will be sent for more detailed commissions. For example, for a headshot, I may only need to send in 2-4. As for portraits, it may take me 4-6 and so on.You are allowed to request revisions when I send a progress shot (ex: expression change, colour shift, hand position adjustment, etc.)4. I will send you the final piece via email, Google Drive file or Discord. Once sent, I allow a maximum of three (3) small revisions (Unless I have made a mistake (ex: drawing the thumb on the wrong side of the hand, backwards knees, etc.), in which case it will not count). After that, more modifications and bigger adjustments will entice a fee.*WIP(s) = Work in progress; a picture or screenshot of your commission's progress so far.

My art style is and will not be 100% consistent: sometimes the eyes are smaller sized than usual, colours may be much more or less saturated than what I'm used to, etc. If there is a specific art style you'd like me to stick to, please let me know.Additionally, if you allow me to draw however I please for the piece, please stay open-minded in what you'll receive, as I frequently mess around with what I am capable of.

TERMS OF SERVICE

1 • I have every right to decline a commission offer. No questions asked.2 • You must credit me for my work. Any additional payment cannot influence this.3 • I own all rights to my artwork. I am allowed to redistribute the (watermarked) drawings for self-promotion, portfolios, etc.4 • First come, first served.5 • Payment is upfront. If the total is over 100$, we can discuss splitting it over the course of the commission progress. I will send my PayPal profile or invoice to you and the money must be sent in the timeframe agreed upon by both parties. Failure to pay will result in me moving on to the next commission I am interested in. If extra fees apply (i.e. more revisions), additional payment will be made during or after the commission.6 • There are no refunds after the commission has been accepted.7 • I allow a maximum of three (3) small revisions after the final product has been sent. Any additional changes may entice a fee. For more information about revisions, please read the 'general info + process' section of my carrd.8 • I might take between a few days (1 week max) to start your commission, depending on complexity and circumstances. Very complicated pieces may take longer. If needed by a certain time, please let me know. (possible charge if the deadline is very near, larger fee for closer due dates.)9 • I may need to take some artistic liberties while drawing and modify/remove parts of the drawing if absolutely necessary. Not taking these leisure compromises the rest of the drawing, although you can request to have it changed back/included.10 • I may need to charge extra for anything, even aspects not listed here. I will specify what the additional payment is for.11 • Tips do not and cannot count as payment. They are simply taken in as a gift.12 • I like to talk casually to my customers, but I always take business transactions very seriously. Please do not take my lighthearted tone of speech as permission to cross my boundaries or receive something for free, thank you.

complex designs

Even a very clean drawing of a simple design can be more expensive than a messy piece of a complicated design. It all depends on what you order and what you request from me, rendering style included.Please compare these examples to your character to get an estimated cost! Though detail is subjective and the final cost may not be what you envisioned, this should help you decide on what you'd like to order. Something you may think would be simple for me to draw might be hard to illustrate and vice versa.*Note that most of these aren't made by me.

Very simple props like flowers and food are free. Of course, this depends on the complexity of said prop, as the price starts to climb the more detailed the object is. I only add fees on very complicated props such as the examples shown below.In most cases, I add 10 to 15 CAD to the total price for these kinds of accessories.
